She is a French national and has a degree in French law, a postgraduate diploma in private French Law (specialising in French Civil Law and French succession Law). She also has a Master’s Degree in Maritime and Shipping Law.
Bénédicte is fully bilingual and has over 19 years’ experience working in England as a French property lawyer (since 2001) for UK based firms of solicitors (such as Prettys Solicitors in Suffolk) and worked for the last ten years in the small niche firm France Legal specialising in assisting UK clients with all aspect of French property Law.
She has dealt with numerous complex French property transactions including purchases; sales; providing French estate-planning advice, drafting French Wills; dealing with a French probate/French succession; setting up an SCI (French property owning company); dealing with the transfer of ownership of a French property following a divorce; dealing with the gift/transfer of ownership of a French property to a spouse or children, etc.
